Sync Button Not Working =(

I need your guys help. I recently got the intensafire chip and when I installed it using the glue provided, the sync button wouldn't even work. I cleaned it out with nail polish remover and it still won't work (sync button) The lights don't flash as if you were connecting it to your Xbox360.

Simpler Terms:
When I turn it on the 1st led lights up but when I press the sync button it doesn't do anything at all.

Should I try soldering it or return it to get it repaired? Please help if you know the solution.

Comment by Patrick Mason on October 7, 2010 at 9:25am: The problem is most likely that the contact points are touching on the sync module or there is glue on the traces of the board.

Comment by xEvil Mysteryx on October 7, 2010 at 9:35am: I re-glued it and now it works the only problem is it won't stick to the sync button. I have to hold it up and make sure its touching then i swithch modes and it works but when i let go it doesn't stick to it.
