I bought two of these, one for myself and another for a friend. After getting most of the contacts soldered on we realized we had a problem...the REALLY small sync button. It took some planning before we had our fix, a wire "bridge." Basically we stripped a small copper wire, and held it close to the middle pin and the sync contact pad on the flex board; eventually the solder took to it and quickly joined the two contacts. After a quick test to see if the Intensafire was working we got back the desk and got out the other controller. To be honest the second time around was for some reason harder than the first; after completely destroying the Sync contact on flex board we realized we had a problem. However thanks to another little wire the job got done. This time we connected the sync contact meant for matrix controllers to the sync button even though the controller was GC. I may sound like we made matters worse and believe me I thought it was a risky job, but as luck would have it when we closed the controller and gave it some juice the intensafire lit up just like the first!
We were amazed at how well the intensafire preformed both in online game play and in campaign mode. In Halo 3 the intensafire works great with SMG's, needelers, and spikers not to mention the almost fully automatic battle rifle! The real test came when we tried COD Modern Warfare 2, then we were completely at a loss of words. I wont go into too much details, but heres a hint...we got a predator with just a pistol...a almost sniper rifle-like pistol. Overall we were both really, really impressed with what the intensafire could unleash with just a push of a button. I would defiantly recommended that you buy this just to see the amazing difference.
Cheers
