Xbox 360 IntensaFIRE 2.0 - Updated Boards now Shipping

The programming on the IntensaFIRE 2.0 boards has been updated so the right trigger fire lock problem has been fixed.

If you have a 2.0 board with original programming, shoot an email to chris@bgrmods.com to arrange for a replacement.

If you've been waiting for this fix to be implemented, it's now "safe" to order from the following places (as of 1/19/11 they are shipping the updated boards):

Thanks for the update!

After experiencing a few more fire locks my 2.0 board is on it's way back for an exchange. Chris at BGR is great to work with and is quick to reply to questions and emails.

Hey thats really great.. I think IntensaFIRE 2.0 is the easiest and most adaptable Xbox 360 rapid fire controller mod on the market. No other Xbox 360 controller mod can beat it for firing and reloading speed.

THE RELOAD SPEED IS NOT AFFECTED AT ALL FROM THE V2 INTENSAFIRE FOR XBOX 360. AND AS FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO BE BEAT BY OTHER CONTROLLERS TAKE A LOOK AT KEV'S CONTROLLER AND TELL ME THAT INTENSAFIRE'S RAPID FIRE MODES ARE THE BEST, I THINK NOT. THERE IS BETTER OUT THERE, BUT THESE INTENSAFIRE BOARDS SERVE THE PURPOSE THAT THEY ARE INTENDED FOR. A SIMPLE NO WIRE INSTALLATION. BUT STILL YOU GOTTA FACE THE FACT THE GLUE IS NOT AS EFFECTIVE AS SODDER CUZ THE GLUE CAN CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS FOR INSTALLERS AND ALSO IT CAN BREAK AWAY FROM JUST DROPPING YOU CONTROLLER ONCE.

Chris seems to be an awesome guy for sure. His emails were prompt in return so you know the guy stays busy. A++. I will be sending in my board for a replacement tomorrow morning thanx to Chris for giving us a break from the fire lock frustration. I just wish it didnt cost us more money having to ship in the old one or even having the risk of ruining the sync button having to reheat the sodder to remove the fire lock version. Not to mention you still have to reuse that same point for the new mod. I'd rather leave the fire lock board on there and just NOT use the mod, I'd just use that controller for racing or something.

Update:

I've already received an email from Chris stating that my new updated IF V2 board is on it's way. I have to again give Kudos to Chris and BGRmods for the quick turnaround and excellent customer service. You guys ROCK! \m/
