LED's are too dim
I have a mod kit for my controller and everything seems to be fine but the light is really dim/flickering. I really need help with this, it's hard to see what mode I'm in

You could try opening up the controller and bending the LED's upward. Also cleaning clear ring of light could help.

Flickering almost makes it sound like the solder connections somewhere may not be secured all the way. The Dim issue with the LED might be that the LED's are not completely lined up under the status indicator plastic windows. Might want to check those 2 things.

I'm pretty sure he used glue if he used the mod kit. Anyway, if any connection would be the problem, it would be the power/ground connection. The sync module connection on CG or Matrix would not cause a flicker. The left trigger connection, would not cause a flicker, neither would the right 3 points. I would check the bottom three connections to make sure they are properly glued/soldered into place if you are having a flickering problem.
If it's a dimming problem then it's because of the placement of the LED's under the clear cover. Either the cover is dirty or the are laying "too" flat to the controller board.
Those are the only solutions.
